Can you make a 5 step plan for lifelong learning? In this video, I will show you how. In my last video The benefits of lifelong learning I talked about how intentional lifelong learning is, and what the benefits are, and today I will show you the 5 steps you need to take to create a plan for your personal lifelong learning.
The 5 steps are
1. Recognize your personal interests and goals
2. Make list/lists of things you would like to be able to do and learn
3. Identify how and the resources
4. Structure your learning goals
5. Make a commitment
I will go through these steps in detail and why they are important for success with your lifelong learning goals. I will draw parallels to my own learning experience as I go through the details of each step. Lifelong, continuous learning can be anything from attending college, on-campus, or online, to learn how to decorate cakes or play an instrument. It doesn’t matter what you are learning, as long as you are intentional and focused. And every lifelong learner can benefit from creating this 5 step plan for there personal and professional growth.
For my channel work, I have done minor changes to my channel art this week, I hope these changes will make it clearer to my audience what they can expect from my videos. I am also working on clarifying mine about section.
I am also focusing on research for my future videos, and I am finding a lot of topics I want to cover, videos that I think can be helpful for anyone who is returning to learning, either for professional or personal growth, as well as younger students that are on their continuous education path.
I feel very inspired to at last have focused my content, but it is still a bit early to look at the analytics for my channel and determine how it is received by the audience. For now, all I can say is that it has not been less appreciated than my earlier material.
I am also working on improving my editing skills. I have realized that the talking head videos are not that easy to make exciting edits with, and I am using a lot of b-roll to at least attempt to create some interest. So far it has worked well, but I need some new inspiration to find other methods to create other ways to make them interested. If you have any suggestions when it comes to my editing I would love to hear from you, use the link in the top menu to leave a suggestion.
So let’s take a look at today’s video, how you can create your personal five-step lifelong learning plan, both for professional and personal growth
