I am continuing my series about Google, and today we take a look at how to set up your account. How to add a profile photo and personal information, how to control what others can see, and how to set up the most secure way to log in to your account.
Security is important
So I will walk you through, step by step, how you can set yo a 2-way authentication for your account. I will also show you how you can control what information is public, for example how you can hide your birthday and how you can add links to other websites you might have.
So let’s get right to the video
My Final Thoughts
It is relatively easy to set up everything in your Google account when you know where things are located, and I will encourage everybody to really use one of the many types of 2-step authentication that are offered. You don’t want anyone to get hold of your Google account. especially if you use many of the apps that come with it.
I will now start doing tutorials about the different apps and web applications that are included and I will probably start with a closer look at the calendar, but if you want to see something specific leave me a suggestion using the link in the top menu.
