The marriage between brain science and teaching science is an attempt to explain what we mean when we talk about Brain Based Learning. This is not a teaching method or a teaching model, this is a way of integrating modern knowledge about how the brain functions and learn with teaching. Brain Based Learning take advantage of the science of the brain and it affect your choice of teaching methods, your lesson design, and how to create school programs. It is a perspective in teaching and learning that is based on using technology and knowledge of the brain to get the most out of the educational process.
It is a new year, and I just had my one year anniversary on YouTube (Jan 4th, 2019). But this also means some changes on my channel. First of all I will only upload videos twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, I will continue creating educational videos, and hopefully develop my editing skills. The main reason for this is the fact that I don’t get the connection and interaction with you, my audience, while uploading videos, so I have decided to start a second channel Pixelpia Live, where I will live stream twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 AM EST. I hope to get more interaction during live streams and maybe that way increase the interaction on my main channel.
I have also started a blog for that channel that you can find here.
Another change that has more to do with this blog is that I have decided not to put up my videos here. I will still have my YouTube library link in the menu if you want to find my videos, but in the blog itself I will just post a thumbnail that is linked to the video on my YouTube channel. I want to do this to see if it will drive more traffic to my actual YouTube page.
So here is the link to today’s video. I hope you watch, and if you like it please give it a thumb up and share it. And why not subscribe to my channels if you haven’t already.
