PixelPia’s Perspective Not just AI. Not just me. Something in between.

Meet PixelPia

A cozy creative workspace with a wooden desk, yarn balls, a green coffee mug, an open notebook with a pen, and a laptop displaying code. Soft natural light filters through a window, highlighting a warm, lived-in atmosphere combining crafting and technology.

Welcome to PixelPia’s Perspective, where curiosity leads the way and creativity refuses to stay in one lane.

This blog is a space for exploring ideas—from the practical to the philosophical, the playful to the profound. I write about the intersection of technology, creativity, lifelong learning, and the messy beauty of being human in an increasingly AI-driven world.

I’m PixelPia—former teacher, lifelong learner, digital creator, and curious Swede with a stubborn streak and a love for thinking out loud. Whether I’m diving into the world of AI, revisiting unfinished projects, or exploring how creativity evolves over time, I always aim to share something useful, thought-provoking, or just plain fun.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Deep dives and reflections on creative work, tech, and education
  • Experiments with AI tools and digital art
  • Thoughtful conversations about why projects are never truly finished
  • And sometimes… strong opinions, a bit of humor, and a lot of questions

I believe everyone is a creator, whether they’re knitting a sweater, building a website, writing a blog post, or crafting an argument. This space is for anyone who can’t stop thinking, tinkering, or learning.

Thanks for being here. I’m glad you’re curious, too.

Fun Facts About Me

(Because bios are better with surprises)

  • Crafty Contradictions: I may be a tech nerd, but give me yarn or a tatting shuttle and I’m just as happy. I once tatted a bridal crown by hand—for real—back in the late ’80s.
  • Swedish Soul: I grew up with Astrid Lindgren’s stories, and Mio, My Son still tugs at my heart. There’s something timeless about a lonely boy, a magical kingdom, and the quiet strength of believing in something bigger.
  • CD-ROMs and Courage: The first time I cracked open a computer to install a CD-ROM drive (Windows 3.11 era!), I had no clue what I was doing—just a stack of how-to articles and stubborn curiosity. That moment turned me into a tech educator. In the ’90s, I started a computer group for girls where we opened up old machines, rebuilt them, and proved that tech isn’t just for boys.
  • Ink & Intention: I have a tattoo on my leg that says: “Fyll inte bara livet med år – fyll åren med liv.” (Don’t just fill life with years—fill the years with life.) It’s a reminder to live with purpose, not just pass time.
  • Salty Sweetness: Give me a bag of real Swedish salt licorice and I’m instantly 10% happier. It’s an acquired taste—and I’ve definitely acquired it.
