Learning in Public

An open notebook filled with handwritten notes sits on a wooden desk beside a laptop, loose paper slips, and a steaming green mug. Soft daylight filters through a blurred window in the background, creating a warm, thoughtful workspace.

I keep coming back to this idea of learning in public. Not in any big official way. More like a quiet thought that keeps tapping me on the shoulder.

I guess what I mean is this. I spend a lot of time trying to understand things. AI tools. Workflows. Why some ideas stick and others fade. And most of that happens in the background where no one sees it. But lately I’ve noticed that when I let a little of that out into the open, the work feels lighter. I feel lighter.

It is not about teaching. I am not trying to guide anyone through a process. It is more like letting people sit beside me while I poke at something new. Letting them hear the part where I say I do not know yet. Letting the learning be visible instead of hidden.

And maybe that is enough. Maybe the openness is the point. Not to impress. Not to produce something finished. Just to show the shape of the thinking while it is still soft and uneven.

That is where I am today. Sort of halfway between figuring something out and realizing I do not need to wait until I have it neatly defined. I can just share it as it is. A little uncertain. A little curious. Still moving.

A person walks alone along a narrow coastal path, moving toward a bright horizon. The sky is gray and blurred with soft motion, and the ocean stretches out beside them. The scene feels quiet, open, and reflective.
