Trust

Two hands meet in a gesture of exchange: one offers a small moss-covered stone, the other receives it. Soft green light surrounds them, symbolizing trust, care, and the passing of something meaningful.

Trust often sounds like a big, weighty word. Something earned in dramatic moments or broken in public ways. But lately I’ve been noticing how often trust shows up in the smallest gestures.

It’s there when someone keeps a promise, no matter how small. When a friend listens without rushing to fix. When a colleague follows through. When we let ourselves share a thought and it’s received with care rather than judgment.

These are not headline moments, but they add up. They are the everyday signals that say: you can lean here, this space will hold.

So this week, I’m paying attention to the small signs of trust. Both the ones I offer, and the ones I receive. Because maybe trust isn’t only built in grand acts, but in the quiet, steady ways we show up for each other.

A steaming green coffee cup sits on a rustic wooden table in sharp focus, while two blurred figures sit close together in the background, creating an atmosphere of warmth, trust, and quiet connection.
