I have been thinking about space. Not the big dreamy kind, but the small kind you have to carve out with intention. Maybe it is the holiday season creeping in, or maybe it is because I am on the road and routines shift whether I want them to or not.
This time of year fills up fast. Invitations, expectations, little tasks that seem harmless on their own. It is easy to drift into the busy version of December without noticing when it starts. And yet, when everything around me picks up, there is a part of me that slows down. Almost like it is trying to make room for something I have not quite named yet.
I planned ahead so I could keep creating while traveling, but what I keep noticing is that preparation only works if I leave actual space in the middle. Not the kind that looks productive. Just breathing room. A little quiet. A small pause before I jump to the next thing.
That is what is on my mind today.
